At the Personalised Learning College, we’re proud to support young people aged 16–25 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). We offer a wide range of learning and training opportunities that help our learners build confidence, develop new skills, and prepare for adult life.
Our programmes are designed to be interactive, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s needs. We take a person-centred approach, which means we focus on what matters most to each young person, whether that’s gaining independence, exploring interests, or working towards future goals. Every learner follows a personalised pathway that helps them grow and succeed.
We teach in small groups so that learners get the support and attention they need. Our staff are experienced, caring, and passionate about helping young people reach their full potential. We work closely with families and carers to make sure everyone feels involved and supported.
Our college has campuses across North Yorkshire, including Hambleton, Harrogate, Selby, and Scarborough, with smaller satellite sites in Catterick and Filey. Each campus offers our core curriculum, which focuses on building essential life skills, improving communication, encouraging creativity, and helping learners become more independent.
In addition to the core curriculum, each campus has its own unique facilities and offers a variety of extra activities. These might include creative arts, sports, community projects, or work experience, giving learners the chance to try new things, make friends, and enjoy their time at college.
Each campus is led by a High Needs Coordinator who has lots of experience working with young people with special educational needs. They are passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where learners can thrive.
We invite you to explore our campuses and meet the amazing team who make the Personalised Learning College such a special place to learn, grow, and feel proud.
